Una palabra puede transformar una comunidad
¿Sabes cuál es la definición más temprana de genio?
La genialidad es lo que nos da la capacidad de producir. Ser capaces de traer algo a la existencia.
¡Cuando miramos el origen de la palabra, nos encontramos algo bastante revelatorio! La palabra genio viene del latín genius. El prefijo gen– se define como “lo que produce”. Ius– el sufijo de la palabra significa “lo que contiene”.
Por lo tanto, genio es aquel con el potencial y habilidad de generar cambio y producir.
Vemos que la genialidad es una característica innata e inherente.
Sí, es un sustantivo pero abarca cambio, acción y energía dinámica.
— COMUNIDAD —
LIMPIEZA COMUNITARIA
El Sábado 23 de Julio aplicamos junto con los vecinos de Cristo Rey el INDIVIDUALISMO.
Hicimos una limpieza comunitaria en la cual varios vecinos, niños y niñas de la comunidad se sumaron para ver un Herradura limpio, nos reunimos a las 9 am en el parque de los Genios de Cristo Rey y dimos inicio a la limpieza. ¡La actividad finalizó alrededor de las 12 md con un resultado que ninguno esperaba!! ¡Recolectamos una cantidad grande de basura y definitivamente el barrio Cristo Rey más limpio!
Todos ayudando con guantes, hidratación y al final un pequeño refrigerio. Fue un trabajo duro en equipo y un esfuerzo enorme que se hizo, el cual se vio en el resultado final.
Queremos agradecerles a todos los que asistieron este Sábado 23 de Julio y en especial a los niños y niñas que se sumaron a esta buena causa, también gracias a la Municipalidad por ayudarnos con un camión el cual recogió la basura al finalizar esta limpieza, lo cual fue de gran ayuda. Estamos muy felices de que la Municipalidad esté formando parte de estos proyectos para un Herradura mejor.

Quiero darles las gracias a ustedes compañeras y a Genios por la limpieza que hicimos el día Sábado ¡estuvo super!
Acerca de los rótulos del puente y los rótulos del parque están ¡maravillosos! tienen un color espectacular, nos sentimos muy agradecidos por los logros que ha tenido la comunidad, han sido cambios muy positivos.
PARQUE DE LOS GENIOS CRISTO REY
Junto a los miembros de la comunidad de Cristo Rey en este mes instalamos los rótulos principales en el parque, como también los rótulos con las reglamentaciones.
Estamos muy felices de como el parque de los Genios de Cristo Rey se va caracterizando, definitivamente muy felices de ver el recorrido que ha tenido y muy emocionados del cambio que tendrá ya que seguimos trabajando en él, ¡¡trabajando con nuevos proyectos los cuales ya queremos contarles!!
En este mes de Agosto se terminará de rotular el parque de los Genios de Cristo Rey con las 24 características y con sus respectivas señalizaciones para que sea un espacio en donde los chicos puedan aprender a desarrollar muchas de las características de los genios que ellos poseen.
— EDUCACIÓN —
ESCUELA DE HERRADURA
Implementación del programa ABCmouse Aprende inglés
Seguimos trabajando con la Escuela de Herradura y la Escuela de Lagunillas con la implementación de ABCmouse en las clases. En este mes de Julio los estudiantes salieron a vacaciones el 01 de Julio y regresaron el 18 de Julio a clases en ambas escuelas.
En la escuela de Herradura se implementa la aplicación en las clases con normalidad en los grados Cuarto, Quinto y Sexto.
Los grados Primero, Segundo y Tercero estarán retomando estas clases de ABCmouse lo más pronto posible.
Queremos destacar la dedicación de las teachers y de los estudiantes aplicando ABCmouse en sus clases ¡Muchas gracias por todo el esfuerzo!
REPARACIONES EN LA ESCUELA DE HERRADURA
Aprovechamos que los Estudiantes estuvieron de vacaciones a inicio del mes pasado, el mes de Julio para hacer algunas reparaciones en la Escuela de Herradura.
Algunas de las construcciones y reparaciones fueron las siguientes:
- Construcción de siete pasos cubiertos con techado
- Construcción de seis rampas con rejas de angular
- Reparación de un paso cubierto
- Se demolió una pila en el área del kínder y se construyó una nueva pila
Todo esto en conjunto a la Escuela de Herradura.
Aplicando la Paciencia, el idealismo y un poco de cada característica, hemos logrado ver grandes cambios en esta Escuela y seguiremos viéndolos. Gracias a la escuela por permitirnos trabajar juntos, estamos viendo frutos.
¡A seguir esforzándonos por lograr cosas grandes!
ESCUELA DE LAGUNILLAS
Implementación del programa ABC mouse Aprende inglés
Ya la escuela y la docente de inglés cuentan con los insumos necesarios para llevar a cabo el programa de aprendizaje digital del inglés, ya que el 27 de Junio se les hizo entrega del equipo.
Se estima que el programa ABCmouse se estará implementando en clases aproximadamente a partir del Lunes 22 de Agosto.
